Sara Johnson - Principal
Sara Johnson is the Principal of Rocky Branch Elementary School. Mrs. Johnson began her teaching career with Oconee County Schools in 2008. As a classroom teacher, Mrs. Johnson taught Reading/Language Arts and Special Education. Mrs. Johnson has a Bachelor's Degree in Middle Grades Education from Georgia College and State University. She holds an M.Ed. in Special Education and Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from the University of Georgia. Previously, she served as Assistant Principal at Oconee County Primary School and Assistant Principal at Oconee County Elementary School.

Jennifer Hutcherson - Assistant Principal
Jennifer Hutcherson has worked in education since 2010, with a strong foundation in both instruction and leadership. She has served as a classroom teacher in first, second, and third grades, as well as in roles as an instructional coach and assistant principal. Through her work in literacy coaching, professional learning, and school improvement, she strives to make a meaningful impact on student outcomes and teacher development. Mrs. Hutcherson has a Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership from Valdosta State University, a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College, and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia. She also holds endorsements in math, reading, and gifted education. She is honored to serve the Rocky Branch community and is passionate about contributing to the school’s strong culture and continued pursuit of academic excellence.
